Urban Nature Play Centre 

From June 2020 Urban Nature will be a member’s only site

If you have a child who presents social and/or emotional behavioural difficulties, or is within the care system, our Urban Nature site has been specially designed to create a safe environment for struggling children and families within Central Scotland and has been adapted to deal with the pressures that COVID-19 has brought.


We have a range of activities starting soon at our Urban Nature site, please note these activities will only be available to our Members.

Some activities available are as follows: (more will be available shortly on our members site)

Play Centre: 

We have created a safe outdoor play centre for children and their families to experience a fun adventure play environment benefiting from our animals and nature.

  • Indoor seating area for parents to relax and unwind

  • Outdoor play area

  • Loose part & imaginative play

  • Animal interaction

  • Vegetable garden

  • Mud kitchens & messy play

  • And lots more activities provided by our wonderful play workers

Animal & Nature Holiday Club:

Our holiday club is completely outdoor based and will be run on a Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 10am -3pm during school holidays.

How to become a member:

From June 2020 Urban Nature will be a member’s only site. This has been a decision we have made to help, protect and benefit our children in the best possible way especially during these uncertain times.

Below we have 3 different types of memberships; bronze, silver and gold. We have a strict criteria which individuals must meet before purchasing our membership. Once membership is purchased, you will receive a welcome pack which must be completed within 7 days and sent back to us. If your child unfortunately doesn’t meet the criteria, then a full refund will be given.

Our Criteria 

  • Child must be aged between 3 - 16

  • Child must present additional needs

  • Child must present social, emotional or behavioural needs  

  • Child has been subject to childhood trauma 

  • Child is care experienced
